The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a continuing requirement for Administrative Support for Personnel Security Services.
5 year contract.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), Security Division (SD), Personnel Security Unit (PSU) requires the conduct of background investigations resulting in Report of Investigations (ROI) on Federal and Contractor applicants for suitability/fitness determinations for employment, continued employment, and authorization to have access to National Security Information (NSI).
Must have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and at least (8) years generalized experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and (6) years general experience and (8) years specialized experience.
Specialized experience must include at least (3) years program management experience and (2) years of specialized experience in reviewing and scheduling background investigations on applicants, employees and contractors within the limits of agency designated authority.
Desired knowledge of:
OPM Investigator’s Handbook or its successor, the Background Investigator Training Standards or its successor; and the Federal Investigative Standards or its successor

Responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the contract services with the COR. Managing staff responsible for:
- Provide administrative staffing to support CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), Personnel Security Division’s processing of CBP applicants, employees and contractors Background and Security Investigation documentation/files.
- Provide project management over this staff in coordination with CBP’s project managers and contracting officer representative (COR)
- Contractor support to provide administrative personnel for PSD personnel security intake, data entry, file room, scanning, adjudication, and other personnel security duties to meet timely scheduling and adjudication of background investigations to ensure all CBP applicants, contractors and employees are suitable for employment and/or are eligible for a security clearance
- Responsible for providing staff to review and prepare cases for scheduling of background investigations on CBP applicants, employees, and contractors; and in addition, shall assist in CBP personnel security duties that include scanning, inputting information into the PSD internal database, and filing and maintenance of case documents
